Sherif is a highly respected leader in the pharmacy profession with extensive experience in pharmacy practice, business and operations. He was an independent pharmacy owner, associate/franchise owner, in addition to holding progressive corporate leadership roles with top pharmacy retailers in Canada. He also possesses comprehensive expertise in the regulatory and advocacy sectors as President of the Ontario College of Pharmacists Association. Sherif is currently the CEO of United Pharma Group, the fastest growing network of independent pharmacy owners in Canada focused on the long-term sustainability and profitability of independent pharmacy. Sherif is an active volunteer in the profession and community.

He currently serves as a director on the boards of the Canadian Foundation for Pharmacy, the Ontario Pharmacists Association, Vanc Pharmaceuticals and the Neighbourhood Pharmacy Association of Canada. He also is a Cabinet Member of the University of Toronto Boundless Campaign and the Co-Chair of the International Pharmacy Graduates scholarship committee, in addition to serving as President of a local Ontario PC riding association.

In 2015, Sherif was selected as one of Canada’s top immigrants, showcasing the value and contribution of international pharmacy graduates to the Canadian society. In 2017, he  was named the Voice of Pharmacy Award winner by the Ontario Pharmacists Association for his significant role in promoting the value of pharmacists and the pharmacy profession. He also received the Volunteer Appreciation Award from the Peel Multicultural Council, and in 2018 was recognized by Halton Newcomer Strategy with the Newcomer Recognition Award for his success and contributions to the community.
