Michael is a passionate and experienced community advocate who is driven by his desire to improve civic engagement and to create better living conditions for the most vulnerable in our community. Having spent his last 10 years in public policy, and
in government, Michael has developed experience in leading teams and implementing government programs. His areas of focus include: intergovernmental relations, immigration, municipal affairs, housing, health, and social services.

Michael has been an active member in the Richmond Hill community since 2003
where he has been mentoring youth for the past 10 years at a local church
community, and is now co-director of a youth program mentoring over 150 young
adults. His volunteer activities include: local homeless shelters, Habitat for Humanity, and CHATS (Community & Home Assistance to Seniors) in Richmond Hill.
